Ok...so this is not the real photo...they weren't ready yet so Mike's talented
daughter took the liberty of drawing a picture for us. You recognize Mike,
of course, in the sombrero and Gloria has the Margarita glass.

Hello Classmates,
On Aug. 5, 2006, we had a "Get Together" for Mike Pierce who
lives in Bangkok, Thailand, and was in Victoria for the weekend. I
sent out a newsletter and invited lots of folks from the class of 68
to join us at the LaHacienda Café for a Saturday night get together.
There were about 12 of us there to welcome Mike and his family to
Victoria. We all had a grand time. Below the photos are some emails we
received about the event. Mike’s emails are in red and his

My trip back to Asia was uneventful despite the increased travel
threat in place the day I left Houston. The family in Thailand was
happy to see me again (as I was them as well). Now I’ve got to go
play catch up with my screwed up sleep pattern. Thanks for everything.
It turned out to be one of my most memorable trips ANYWHERE. Bless you
and yours!

Wow-is she just amazing!!! Now if she had been in charge of my reunion,
there's NO way she would have let me duck out of going!
Oh, by the way, I went ahead and emailed her our response for the 2008
cruise. I told Gloria that there would be 10 of us. I think that's
right, let's see...Me and my family, Trina all all of her crew and you.
Yep, that's right, 10! I told Gloria to go ahead and bill you for
everything. No need to thank me, I know you appreciate me thinking of
this for you!!! Thank you for sending the newsletter. We too had a blast
and now have great memories to last a life time!

just after reading Gloria's email she makes me feel tired -
what a firecracker!!! She makes me want to be in on the
newsletter loop!
We had
lots of fun on the trip too - it was very nice that the kids
are all old enough to remember it! It seems like according to
the newsletter you better come back in 2008 - I am sure those
heart thingys are really over-rated (just kidding - you need
to live to be a 103 so you can continue on the newsletter).

What "humor" (?), my daughters ARE serious! Well, mostly
serious. Maybe a little serious. OK, OK, they’re "smart
asses" like their Dad.
